Part 3 – Generosity and Purpose: Using Success to Serve Others
Introduction
In today’s world, success is often pictured as having a mansion, multiple businesses, luxury cars, and a fat bank account. We equate worldly achievement with divine approval. But let’s pause for a second—is success really just about money and material gain?
No, it’s not.
Success is not the final goal. God is.
The job you landed, the business you started, the wealth you accumulated—all of that is just a resource, not the source. When you truly know God, He gives you something much more valuable than money: He gives you wisdom. And from that wisdom, wealth may follow—but the wisdom is the true treasure.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” – Proverbs 9:10
The closer you get to God, the wiser you become. And the wiser you become, the more effective you’ll be in life. Wisdom helps you steward opportunities, discern purpose, and build wealth that lasts—not just financially, but spiritually too.
But here's the key: the wealth you gain isn’t meant to stop with you.
Blessed to Be a Blessing
When God gives you success, He’s also testing your heart. Will you cling to it, or will you let Him use it through you?
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35
Giving is not just about money. It’s about impact. It’s about using what you have—your time, your resources, your knowledge, your influence—to uplift others.
When people see your generosity, they should see Christ through you.
Because real giving says to God:“Lord, this isn’t mine—it’s Yours. And I trust You enough to let it flow through me.”
That kind of surrender builds a deeper relationship with God, and it shows others the true source of your success.
Let Them See God in You
You don’t need to boast about your success—let your generosity speak.
When you give, people begin to wonder:“What’s his secret?”“How did she make it?”
And that’s your opportunity to say:“It’s not me—it’s God.”
Your giving becomes a silent sermon. Your success becomes a testimony. Your life becomes proof that following God works.
When people see how you move, how you bless, how you pour into others, they’ll be drawn not just to your story—but to your Source.
Give More, Trust More
When you give from your success, you’re telling God:“I trust You to do it again.”
You’re showing others that wealth isn’t what fulfills you—relationship with God does.
And the more you give, the more God gives through you.
Because He knows: you’re not building a kingdom for yourself—you’re building His.
So don’t chase success. Chase God. And let your success become the evidence that chasing Him is always worth it.
Final Thoughts
You’re not just here to collect blessings—you’re here to distribute them.
Let your life speak.Let your giving show your God.Let your success point people to the true Source of abundance.
Be the evidence that generosity isn’t weakness—it’s worship. Be the light that reminds the world: we’re blessed to bless.
Give freely. Live purposefully. And never forget who your Source is.
You are not just a success story—you’re a testimony.
Keep shining. Keep serving. Keep trusting God.
God bless you!
